CLOSER LOOK ASSIGNMENT (CLOSE LOOKING AND RESEARCH)
In this class, students are often required to take a "Closer Look" at works of ancient American (Pre-Columbian) art. They zoom into the image, examine details and pose questions related to iconography, interpretation, materials, conservation and more.
Look at recent scholarly treatments of the work of art, such as museum websites, academic journal articles and real BOOKS.
