Things to Remember:

• First Element:  Author or title first

• No Author?    If there is no author, the title is first

• Source Types:   book, journal article, name/title of website  

  • For a book, the book title is source

  • For an article, the journal, magazine or newspaper is the source

  • For a website, the name/title of website, or publisher

• Publication information: includes publisher (for book)    volume/issue (for journal)
