Your Essay Assignment

In an essay, consider a significant occurrence in your personal life and development. Focus your essay on contrasting three aspects of your life before and after this event. For example, if you live on your own, you might contrast what life was like in regard to money, friendships, and time before and after living on your own; if you quit smoking, you might contrast the differences of your finances, health, and daily routine from before and after. Somewhere in the body of your essay you should have at least two direct quotes from one or two sources you found on Rio Hondo’s databases. For example, if you were exploring the difference of life after having lost a parent, you might bring in an interesting quote from an article discussing how losing a parent can impact a person.
